Prior to CRI, Mr. Richland founded three other successful ventures — DemoCast, a web casting and conference call company, SourceOne, a long distance company and Sanistaff, a viral disinfecting company.

Mr Richland was the founder and CEO of Contract Recruiting, Inc. a leading provider of customized recruiting solutions that seamlessly integrates best-in-class process, outsourcing and technology for talent management. Mr. Richland established CRI as one of the most comprehensive solutions providers of software and services for human capital management in the market. During his tenure as CEO Richland recognized the need to integrate proprietary technology into the hiring process which resulted in the acquisition of PeopleCapital which was Human Resource Magazine Software product of the year. The company was recognized as one of the largest RPO specialists in the industry, listed as one of HRO Today’s, “Bakers Dozen,” recognizing the industry’s top 13 RPO providers. Revenues grew consistently during every year of his tenure, which earned CRI a spot on the prestigious Inc. 500 list of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in the nation. After growing the company to over 200 employees and placing over 15,000 hires annually, Richland sold CRI to Manpower, a Fortune 500 Company. He continued with Manpower as President of the RPO Division and VP of Strategy and Solutions for Manpower Business Solutions .
Pioneers in Conference calling and Web casting
Democast
Mr. Richland was also the founder and CEO of Democast, a leading provider of conference call and webcasting services. Democast was one of the first companies to provide collaborative use of PowerPoint and conference calling to present ideas and opportunities over the internet. The company grew to over 1000 customers and was being utilized for multiple applications from training to sales, quarterly investor calls to general information presentations. Richland eventually sold the company to Bulldog Solutions, a Marketing agency and ATT Reseller.
Long distance and data services
Source One Communications
Prior to Democast Mr. Richland founded Source One communications, a long distance reseller. After being the number one sales representative at Sprint communications, Richland conceptualized a company that could not only sell one service, but could provide multiple options for customers based on the customer’s specific needs. This sparked the genesis of Source One. The company is a reseller of multiple lines of Long Distance and data services including, ATT, MCI, SPRINT among others. Source One still exists today.

Sanistaff
Sanistaff is a leader in the viral disinfection business servicing customers throughout the North Eastern United States. Born out of the Covid 19 pandemic Richland served as one of the original founders of Sanistaff and sits as a member of the Advisory Board today.
